J.J. Watt Has Pledged 100% of Personal Proceeds from New Shoe to Veterans
Houston Texans’ defensive star, and well-known all around good guy, J.J. Watt may have had his season cut short again due to injury, but it's not slowing down his philanthropic efforts.
The five-time all-pro defensive end has released his brand new Reeboks, called “Valor." The shoe is to honor U.S. veterans including his late grandfather. Watt has pledged all of the personal proceeds from Reebok "Valor" sales to Honor Flight.
Reebok is stepping up with Watt, and will too donate money from each sale to Honor Flight as well.
“For every pair of the Reebok JJ III Valor shoes sold on Reebok.com and any US Reebok retail store, Reebok will be donating $5.00 a pair, up to $25K, to the Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing veterans with honor and closure.”
