Federal Investigators Seek Additional Victims in Case Linked to Texas

Federal investigators in the Eastern District of Texas are asking the public for help identifying additional potential victims after a Nashville man was indicted on federal child sex crime charges. Authorities believe Joseph Dalton Bowman may have contacted minors in at least 17 cities, including Dallas and Frisco.

Why Federal Investigators Are Asking for the Public's Help

32-year-old Joseph Dalton Bowman of Nashville made a court appearance on Monday before U.S. District Judge Amos L. Mazzant and was ordered to be detained after he was indicted by a federal grand jury for coercion of a minor and production of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and traveling with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor.

Bowman could face life in federal prison if convicted, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
