Ku Klux Klan Members Distribute Flyers in East Texas Towns
Racism is still alive in East Texas, as shown through a number of flyers distributed in local neighborhoods by members of the Ku Klux Klan.
According to a post on the Van Zandt News Facebook page, the flyer shown below has been found in multiple East Texas neighborhoods, including in the towns of Wills Point, Edgewood and Fruitvale. A commenter from Quinlan said she found a flyer at her home as well.
The newspaper reports recipients have said the flyers were found in their yards, usually early in the morning and placed in a sealed plastic bag with a rock on top to weigh them down.
Distributed by the Texas Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, the flyer speaks to the issue of "third world immigration," and "Honorable native born white American men and women the time for patriotism is now ..."
Maybe it's time for certain East Texans to realize they're descendants of immigrants. Or that hate only breeds violence, and never change.
Pathetic.
