New Tyler Rock Gym Offering Free Climbing This Saturday

Every week we hear people saying there are too many restaurants and not enough unique activities in Tyler, Texas. So this should come as a nice welcome.

Tyler Rock Gym is having its Grand Opening this Saturday, December 2 and they want you, your family and friends to try out this unique way of staying (or getting) in shape that's fun as a group.

Stop by the only East Texas indoor climbing gym for free climbing between 9 am and Noon. They are open until 5 pm as well as they are also doing raffles for free climbs and gear all day.

They offer both top rope, lead climbing and bouldering - so they got you covered if you're a beginner!

I haven't climbed in about 5 years, but I did every day in college - climbing communities are tightly knit and embrace newbies learning the ropes. It was also the most fun workout I've ever done - so you'll probably see me there!
