Most of us have heard of swimming with the dolphins, but this is surfing with the dolphins! A group of surfers in the waters off Sydney’s Bondi Beach got to experience surfing with several dolphins this past Tuesday.

Dolphins are a common sight on Sydney’s beaches. According to the Australian government’s department of environment, the dolphins  swim close to the shore searching for small fish.

On this  particular day, it was estimated there was close to 50 dolphins jumping in and out the waves - No surfboard needed!

Theses beautiful beaches are popular tourist spots, Bondi and Bronte Beaches and they are also killer spots for dolphin and whale sighting, especially between June and August, which are Australia’s winter months.

Hang Ten!
