Well, now that I seeing some of the results of the 2019 Seal Coat Project taking place around Tyler, I'm looking forward to driving on these improved roads. However, as the work is taking place you may want to find an alternative route to make sure you are able to get to work and other obligations on time. Also, please make sure to look out for construction signs for your own safety.

The work will be going on through Saturday, so some East Texans will be affected for their Friday work commutes and Saturday plans. Which streets will the City of Tyler be working on during the next few days?

The Tyler Paper reports that work will be taking place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. on "South Baxter Avenue, between East Front Street and East Devine Street, New Copeland Road between Wilma Street and Clyde Drive, East Amherst Drive between South Broadway Avenue and South Keaton Avenue."

The article goes on to report that work on Saturday, which will be happening between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m., and will be focused on "West Grande Boulevard, (bridge) between South Broadway Avenue to Hollytree Drive. This road will be closed because of the size of the equipment. Tyler Police Department will be on site. South Donnybrook Avenue between South Broadway Avenue and East Rieck Road."
