Former Stephen F. Austin State University alum, Freddy David Villalobos, will have the distinction of being Houston Astros star Jose Altuve's body double in a commercial for New Balance.

Altuve is a World Series Champion, American League MVP, Major League Baseball All Star and Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year. So, why would he need a body double?

Apparently, Altuve wasn't allowed to do certain actions during the commercial shoot. Villalobos will perform actions like sliding and running as Altuve for the commercial. Mostly, I would think, to prevent any injury. Don't need a blown ACL shooting a commercial during the season.

Villalobos played for the SFA Lumberjacks baseball team from 2011 to 2013.

He is also from Venezuela, which is also Altuve's home country. In meeting Altuve, it made an easy ice breaker to discuss their home country.

When can we expect to see the commercial? Villalobos told KLTV, "It should come out before the MLB All-Star break sometime in July."

We look forward to seeing it.
