If you own a newer model Ford F-150 there is a chance that your truck is under a safety recall. On Thursday, Sept. 6th Ford Motor Company announced it was recalling 2 million of its F-150 pickup trucks for potential issues with the seat belt pretensioners.

To ease the inconvenience of dealing with this, Tyler Ford will open their service department on Saturday, September 22nd exclusively to handle recall repairs -- and here's the kicker, you didn't even have to buy your truck from Tyler Ford to participate.

David Irwin, managing partner at Tyler Ford, told KLTV "We understand that these recalls are inconvenient – especially for those working weekdays. So we decided to try and make the process as quick and convenient as we could by opening on a weekend and providing food."

The free food includes several local food trucks, BT's Rollin' Smoke BBQ, Lupita's Restaurant Say Cheese, and Wienerland will be available to customers while they are waiting.

Call the Tyler Ford service department at (888) 475-5841 or (903) 597 - 9331 to schedule your repair appointment.
