US Soccer Defeats Italy For First Time – Clint Dempsey Scores Winning Goal

Nacogdoches native Clint Dempsey scored the winning goal earlier today as the US soccer team won for the first time ever over the Italians.

Dempsey has been on fire this past season playing in European soccer, and it was his strike from just inside the penalty box that gave the Americans a 1-0 win.
