The Black student-athletes at the University of Texas are demanding change.

They are tired and exhausted from putting up with the racism they have been faced with. A list of their demands was sent out to the university's administrators in a letter (that was also posted to Twitter). If their requests are not honored, they ain't participating in key recruitment and donor activities until they are.

KLTV reports that in this letter, the students state that they want to see officials:
condemning racism
permanent black history exhibit in the Texas Hall of Fame
a Julius Whittier section in the university stadium
Donation of at minimum 0.5 percent of the annual athletic administration earnings to black organizations
Get rid of that song, “The Eyes of Texas”
Rename 3 residence halls
Rename the Hogg Auditorium
Racism education to all incoming Freshman to the school
