Clint Black is coming to Front and Center on PBS as part of a special series of shows featuring country artists, and Taste of Country readers are getting a special sneak preview of his performance.

Black is among the country artists profiled for the PBS program's CMA Songwriters Series. He's joined by John Rich for an episode filled with behind-the-scenes stories about his biggest hits, as well as exclusive performances. In the clip above, Black performs "A Better Man," his debut single from 1989's iconic Killin' Time album. The clip premieres exclusively on Taste of Country today.

Other country artists featured in the CMA Songwriters Series of Front and Center include Miranda Lambert, who shared the stage with songwriters who contributed to her The Weight of These Wings album for a recent episode. Kane Brown joins songwriters Tom Douglas and Josh Hoge in an upcoming show that also features newcomer Luke Combs, who welcomes hit songwriters Thomas Archer, Ray Fullcher and Rob Williford.

Liam Gallagher, Mike + the Mechanics, Beth Hart, Sheryl Crow, Seal, Jack Johnson and Nile Rodgers are among the other artists who will be featured on Season 8 of Front and Center. Black's episode will begin airing on PBS in select markets on Friday, March 2. Check local listings for further details.

"We are so excited to bring back Front and Center for an eighth season," Executive Producer Don Maggi says in a press release. "This may be our biggest season yet and it has been such a privilege working with such an eclectic group of iconic artists."
