Dia de Los Muertos

Today is Dia de Los Muertos or Day of the Dead. Although it may not sound like it, it's actually a huge celebration in honor of those who have died.

The celebration originated in Mexico, where it is still prevalent each year. However, over time this celebration has spread to the rest of the world. The idea behind it is that by celebrating the dead each year, it keeps their spirit alive here on Earth.
