We miss Montgomery Gentry. It's still sad to know that Troy Gentry is no longer with us. One thing that will live on is the music he and Eddie Montgomery made as Montgomery Gentry.

Eddie stopped by the Big D and Bubba studio to talk about some new Montgomery Gentry music. The songs were cut before Troy passed away tragically in a helicopter crash. The new album will be coming soon.

You can tell how much Troy meant to Eddie. He still gets emotional talking about him.

Bubba brought up the idea of using a Troy Gentry hologram for Montgomery Gentry shows. Ronnie James Dio's family has given their blessing for a hologram show. The rapper Tupac has had some hologram shows. A couple of other artists that are no longer with us are in the conversation for something like that, too.

Eddie did say it's been brought up but there's a lot of hoops to jump through for it to happen.

In the meantime, we look forward to the new Montgomery Gentry album.
