We'll soon be celebrating the Luck of the Irish on in just a week, and in Texas El Paso does it best.

I was as surprised as you are to read that statement. I fully expected to see Dallas, or Houston, Austin or maybe even San Antonio on the list... but no, El Paso out ranks the rest of the Lone Star State, according to WalletHub.com.

A large portion of the American population claims Irish ancestry. This author included! 31 million people claim that their family hails from the country. That’s over six and a half times the population of Ireland.

It may or may not surprise you to learn that Chicago, Illinois is the top place to celebrate the holiday in the country. They have gained fame over the years for dying the river green. That's no easy feat! In the Lone Star State the claim goes to our western friends of El Paso.
