Here we go again. Big companies hitting us in the nostalgia feels. Before Christmas, we had Google bringing Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) back for a great Home Alone parody for the Google Assistant.

And now, Walmart has introduced a brilliant piece of advertising for it's grocery pick up service.

Brilliant is the right word. Walmart gained the services of Kitt from Knight Rider, the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo, the Back to the Future DeLorean, Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, a Jurassic Park Explorer, the Batmobile, Harry's dog grooming van from Dumb and Dumber, the Griswold's station wagon, Cinderella's pumpkin carriage, the Flintstone's food peddled car and Bumblebee. All these iconic vehicles come together to show that no matter the car you drive, you can order your groceries online then pick them up at the store.

I will say this, though. The Batman vs Superman Batmobile is pretty cool but they should have used Michael Keaton's Batmobile. The A-Team van should have been in there, too. That would have made this commercial that much more cooler.

Having owned a 1973 Volkswagon Beetle, it was cool to see Bumblebee in his bug form and loading the groceries in the front.

No matter, this hits us Gen X'er's in the nostalgia gut. Thanks Walmart, now I have to stop by the electronics department and pick up these movies to watch.
