47 Felony Arrests Were Made In Gregg County Last Week

Crime will never take a day off in Dallas, Texas, Houston, Texas, or Longview, Texas. Criminals are way too busy devising a plan to circumvent the system to get what they want. In some cases, they just deliberately break the law to get what they want.

While these criminals may get away with it at first, law enforcement usually catches up with them in the end through investigations, video surveillance, tips from the public, and believe it or not, co-conspirators who end up spilling too many details about the crime. Afterward, these guys and gals end up behind bars and may eventually go before a judge and jury to learn their fate.

Gregg County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, Longview Police, Gladewater Police, and Kilgore Police Departments were busy last week bringing in those suspected of criminal activity to be booked into the Gregg County Jail. Some of the felony charges these suspects are facing include:

• unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon
• possession of a controlled substance
• driving while intoxicated X3
• continued assault family violence
• sexual assault of a child
• aggravated assault

Once booked into the system, some suspects had their bonds set immediately, some are still awaiting a bond hearing and some have posted bail and are now released and are waiting for their court date to return to face the charges that have been filed against them.

The following individuals were recently arrested and booked into the Gregg County Jail and received at least one felony charge.
