Alfie Is A Bundle Of Joy And Looking To Be Adopted
Described as a 'bundle of joy', Alfie is looking for his first and only fur-ever family to adopt him.
Alfie is a 4-month-old male Retriever/Labrador mix who had a rough start in life, but thanks to the caring staff at the Humane Society's Pets Fur People in Tyler, he's thriving.
Despite being abandoned early in his young life and facing challenges like lice and maggots, Alfie has incredible strength and spirit. He is now healthy and happy and getting lots of love from the Pets Fur People staff.
You could give this little guy a great second chance at life. He will be loyal and very affectionate for sure. He is partially leash-trained but prefers to be your shadow most of the time! Alfie is paper trained so just a little more work and he could be house-trained.
Alfie is also working on and picking up some basic commands. He is going to be a big guy when he's fully grown but will make a great addition to your family. He will go home with a starter kit of food, a collar, and a leash.
For information on adopting Alfie call 903.597.2471 or check the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website. Pets Fur People requires a completed adoption application before arranging a meet and greet.
Check out the animals that are available for adoption. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 am until 5 pm - closed for lunch 1-2 pm. The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only brick-and-mortar no-kill shelter in East Texas. Pets Fur People offers routine vaccinations, except for rabies, to the public for dogs and cats. Follow Pets Fur People on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please be a responsible pet owner - spay or neuter your pets. Donations are appreciated.
