Eddie Montgomery stopped by the Big D and Bubba studio to talk about a new Montgomery Gentry project, Montgomery Gentry: 20 Years of Hits.

It's a "Greatest Hits" album with a twist. Eddie got some help from his many friends in Nashville to perform the Montgomery Gentry songs with him. It's a greatest hits but also a tribute to Troy Gentry, his duo partner who was killed in a helicopter crash over a year ago.

Brad Paisley joins Eddie for "Back When I Knew It All", Granger Smith on "Hillbilly Shoes, Jimmie Allen for "Hell Yeah" and other stars help out.

Montgomery Gentry: 20 Years of Hits is out now wherever you get your music.

I've always been a big fan of Montgomery Gentry and the album sounds great and is a great tribute to T-Roy.

Listen to Big D and Bubba Monday through Saturday mornings on 101.5 KNUE.
