A popular Mexican restaurant in Longview has opened a third location.

Owner Jose Galvan opened his first restaurant on McCann Rd, in Longview in 1999. Since then he has added a second location on Marshall Ave., and now a third in Hallsville, where El Sombrero was formerly located at 704 W. Main St., according to the Longview News-Journal.

The menu will be the same as the other two restaurants, and seat 150 people. The Hallsville location will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and stays open until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

"Jose inspired by his parents, Luis and Maria Galvan, who also opened a restaurant in 1986 called Mexico City, he decided take his knowledge from working in the food business to open up his own restaurant. There are now three locations and with the help of his kids and family members, he is able to keep the family business going."

Little Mexico will mark its 20th anniversary in May. The first Little Mexico opened May 8, 1999.
