Miley Cyrus recently released the video "Jolene." Yes, that "Jolene". The brillant song was a huge hit for the great Dolly Parton back in 1974. I have to admit, Miley does it proud! Little did I know, but Dolly just happens to be Miley's godmother.  The video was recorded earlier this summer during "Backyard Sessions," which feature the Miley and her band playing some of her favorite songs. The recordings are a nice surprise, showing Miley's beautiful and strong vocals on several acoustic covers.

Some of those covers include, Bob Dylan's "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go," James Shelton's "Lilac Wine," and Melanie Safka's "Look What They've Done To My Song, Ma.

Miley has been working on a forthcoming album, which is being produced by Pharrell Williams. The album is said to have a sound unlike anything Miley has ever done. By the sound of her cover of "Jolene," I can't wait for the the albums release.

Personally, I think this is the best I have ever heard Miley sing. She has really come into her own and she deserves to be heard.

Stay tuned, we will keep you up to date on the albums released.
