Tax Holiday Set for Water Efficient Products

The Water-Efficient Products Sales Tax Holiday was adopted last year by the Texas legislature and will allow residents to purchase water-conserving appliances or other similar products, tax free, May 28 through May 30.

Eligible items include showerheads, bathroom sink faucets, products used or planted for conserving or retaining groundwater, toilets and more.

Products must have a WaterSense label or logo to qualify for the tax exemption.
