(KNUE-FM) There are three men who have been arrested in Texas for using an SUV to remove an ATM from a convenience store, according to law enforcement. The surveillance footage has now gone viral which helped lead to the arrest of the suspects.

How Viral Video Helped Police Solve the Crime

The entire incident was captured on video, which helped White Settlement law enforcement track down the three suspects. Police say that within 24 hours of the video being released it had gone viral and was covered by local news, which led to a tip coming in which identified one of the main suspects.

Who Was Arrested in the ATM Theft Case

The investigation continued, which led to the arrests of 28-year-old Jay Gerard Jones Jr, 26-year-old Aaron Tre Vuentae Rabon Alex, and 24-year-old Bronya Keshawn Freeman, who were all charged with engaging in organized crime.

The cable connecting the ATM to the SUV eventually broke on the service road of Interstate 30, between South Cherry Lane and South Las Vegas Trail. The suspects abandoned it.

All three suspects remain behind bars at the Tarrant County jail.

Authorities have not released how much money was inside the ATM at the time that the crime took place.
