Often referred to by fans as "The Chinese Fire Drill." The Dirty River boys are known to frantically swap instruments between songs. Similar to the prank you and your friends used to do in high school, where your truck was stopped at an intersection and everybody got out of the vehicle, circled it, and returned to their seats. Only y'all can't play guitars.

Not only does the Texas legend sing with the guys on their hit single "Down by the River," he co-produced their latest, and self-titled album. If anything has the RWH stamp on it, ya better check it out.

In an interview with Playboy Magazine, the publication that christened them "The new bad boys of country" last year, bassist Colton James had this to say: “These days country music is all pseudo cowboys wearing cowboy hats and singing about things they don’t know about, it makes me ill. It’s not country. It’s not authentic.”

The band’s musical influences run the gamut. “Some nights we get more punk, and some nights we get a little more country,” says Stearns. “Some nights we hush it down and get seriously singer-songwriter. We just try to sound like ourselves.”
