You can expect lane closures and delays through one of Tyler's most busiest intersections on Thursday, Oct. 8.

The City of Tyler traffic department will be installing a new signal pole on the northeast  corner of Loop 323 and Old Jacksonville Highway that was damaged in an accident back on Aug. 5.

City crews will be working on installing a new signal pole, arm and signs and have plans to close some lanes of Loop 323 and Old Jacksonville Highway while the installation is happening.

The intermittent lane closures are expected to happen between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. You can expect slower traffic than normal in this area and are asked to seek alternate routes if possible to ease congestion.
