Tyler ISD Needs School Bus Drivers
According to KETK, Tyler ISD is getting creative when trying to bring in new applicants to drive school buses. They are now putting new messages on the side of buses in an attempt to bring in new bus drivers.

New Messages on Buses Encourage Applicants
The messages include sayings such as” This Seat Changes Lives” and “Be the First Smile of the Day” or “Not Just a Bus Driver. A Route Model.”
The Independent School District is hoping that people sitting at home or those who may have a few extra hours in their day might be interested by the new messaging, and it might be a perfect fit to become a bus driver.
How Much Tyler ISD Bus Drivers Are Paid
Tyler ISD is paying for new drivers’ CDL training, Pay starts at $18.36 per hour and drivers will have flexible hours, which include time off during the normal school day.
