Who doesn't love to go the movies? That's right, everyone loves to go! The Tyler Parks and Recreation Department starts the 2013 Spring "Movies in the Park" series this Saturday, April 13, with a free viewing of a classic hit, “His Girl Friday,” in the Bergfeld Park Amphitheatre in Tyler at 8 p.m.This movie features legendary movie stars, Carey Grant, Rosiland Russell, Ralph Bellamy, and Gene Lockhart.

“His Girl Friday” is the story of Walter Burns, the editor for The Morning Post, who finds out his ex-wife and former ace reporter, Hildegard “Hildy” Johnson, is about to re-marry a boring insurance man Bruce Baldwin and settle down to a quiet life as a wife and mother.

Walter is determined to stop this from happening, by reaching out to his ex-wife to cover one last story. That's when the fun begins! As you can tell, I'm a huge fan of the classic movies.

The Free Movies in the Park are an excellent opportunity for East Texans to enjoy a great family film at beautiful Bergfeld Park.

Check out the upcoming "Movies in the Park" that  include:

Saturday, April 20: “Thunderstruck” at 8 p.m.
