Surrounded by family and co-workers the crane cab operator was honored for his loyalty to the company. His accomplishment is such a big deal that the Executive Vice President of McWane Kurt Winter, the owner of  Tyler Pipe, paid a visit on behalf of the President and CEO of McWane to extend his congratulations.

He was presented with an award plaque which showed appreciation for his dedication to the company,

As you well know, the life of a foundry man can be very rewarding, but also very difficult at times.  And, it is a real testament to your strong character that you have truly stood the "test of time."

I asked him how was he going to celebrate his special day and he told me in his soft spoken voice "I am going to get back on my crane and go to work."

Since 1959 when so much history has passed and technology evolving James Madison has shown what dedication looks like and honoring him on his longevity is well deserved.

Thank you, Mr. Madison, for being a true example of dedication and hard work.  Also, thank you for making Hot 107-3 Jamz apart of your workday by listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
