The red Cadillac SUV that authorities originally thought was a suspect vehicle was located, the owners were questioned and it was determined they had no connection to Kayla's disappearance according to the Cherokee County Sheriff's office and the Department of Public Safety.

A unit of the FBI from the Dallas office are assisting local authorities with the investigation according to KLTV. At this time, the FBI says that no volunteers are needed to help with the search. They need space to collect evidence and continue the investigation.

Wednesday night (November 2), churches in the Bullard area cancelled Wednesday night services. A prayer vigil was held at Bullard City Hall for the safe return of 10 year old Kayla Gomez.

Kayla Gomez is 10 years old and went missing at 8 P.M. from Bullard First Assembly church.

She is a Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes, 4 feet tall, 90 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black Racquet and Jog t-shirt with a peach skirt.

She is believed to be in grave danger.

The red Cadillac SUV is no longer considered the suspect vehicle by authorities according to KLTV.
