The Dallas Stars have made it to the first round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, and are faring well so far against the Nashville Predators.

The Stars are leading the series 5-2 with Game 6 set for 7:30 p.m. CT, Monday, April 21. The Stars will host the Predators at American Airlines Center in Dallas, and the game will be televised locally on Fox Sports Southwest.

Dallas' top line is playing well with Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov combining for seven points in Dallas' Game 5 win. With a win Monday night, Dallas will advanced to the next round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Stars have a rich history, making the playoffs 14 out of 23 seasons since the franchise located to Dallas from Minnesota in 1993. The Stars defeated the Edmonton Oilers, the St. Louis Blues, and the Colorado Avalanche in 1999, before moving on to the finals and defeating the Buffalo Sabres to claim the Stanley Cup.
