1 Killed, 1 Injured In Two-Vehicle Wreck On Grande Blvd

Tyler police are investigating a wreck that killed one person and sent another to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say that 57-year-old Anthony V Moffitt was driving westbound on Grande Boulevard just after noon when, for an unknown reason, he crossed into the eastbound lanes and struck another vehicle head-on.

The collision caused Moffitt's vehicle to roll, and Moffitt was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle, 77-year-old Theresa Breedlove, was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
