Arby’s Rolling Out Venison Sandwich Nationwide, Elk Sandwich in Three States
Arby's is gearing up for a new hunting season and in celebration, they announced they will be rolling out their limited-time only venison sandwich. When they released it last year in select locations, the sandwich sold out in minutes. So this year, they're releasing it nationwide across 3,300 stores, according to Detroit Free Press.
Here's a taste test from our friends
And if venison sounds boring to you, three Arby's restaurants in Wyoming, Colorado and Montana are testing the brand new elk sandwich.
Arby's representatives told USA Today that the venison sandwiches will likely sell out quickly, so come try it as soon as it's released on October 21, 2017.
Chief Marketing Officer told USA Today:
If people are interested in trying the sandwich, the only way to guarantee they can get one is to get there when we open or a little before and make sure they are in line, just like the folks last year.
I'll be honest. I'm not a huge Arby's fan. Something about a catch phrase "we got the meats' makes me a little queasy. But I'm not knocking them either - I have plenty of friends who enjoy the fast food chain coupled with some curly fries. Plus, the venison in the sandwiches comes from a supplier in New Zealand, according to Nation's Restaurant News.
There are three Arby's locations in our immediate area:
- 4006 S Broadway, Tyler, TX
- 1025 McCan Rd, Longview, TX
- 1188 S Oak St, Van, TX
But for laughs, here's what I think about when I see or hear Arby's.
