Battle on the Border High School Football Showcase

Mark your calendars for September 8, 9 and 10 as Independence Stadium in Shreveport will host Battle on the Border high school football showcase.

Twelve high school teams from Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Florida will be on hand to showcase their talents including John Tyler and Lufkin.

Thursday, September 8

• St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA) vs. C.E. Byrd (Shreveport, LA), 6 P.M.

Friday, September 9

• John Curtis (River Ridge, LA) vs West Monroe (West Monroe, LA), 6 P.M.
• Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA) vs Neville (Monroe, LA), 8:30 P.M.

Saturday, September 10

• Warren Easton (New Orleans, LA) vs John Tyler (Tyler, TX), 12 P.M.
• Lufkin (Lufkin, TX) vs Parkway (Bossier City, LA), 4 P.M.
• Booker T. Washington (Tulsa, OK) vs IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL), 7 P.M.
