Five weeks ago the City Of Tyler had to take the city portal website offline due to a hack and it happened again this morning.

The City Of Tyler website, that is hosted by a third party website contractor, was taken offline around 9:35 this morning because it had been compromised. The City Of Tyler says via a press release that no payment platforms or government service sites hosting credit card and residents' personal information were compromised.

The city says on their Facebook page that they are working with local law enforcement on investigating why this has happened a second time.

Blake Holland from KLTV was able to grab the following screen shot of the website before it was taken down. The graphic stated "Hacked By Iranian Hackers".

The website remains offline as the City Of Tyler IT and their provider work to keep this from happening again.  In the meantime, a list of links including job opportunities, bill pay, online permits and other resources are now available on this site.  A directory for all city departments with phone numbers and addresses are also available.
