Comparing the Value of a Dollar from 100 Years Ago 

If you look at the value of a dollar from 1925 with inflation rates that would be worth around $17 now.  

As most of us know, the unfortunate part is that wages haven’t increased as quickly as inflation rates during that same amount of time. 

Shopping Habits Have Changed Drastically 

Just about everyone would agree that life has become easier over the past 100 years.  

If we want a specific food delivered to our front door, we can make it happen with a couple movements of our finger, and it will happen quickly. 

The variety of stores and products we have now compared to 100 years ago is incredible.  

We should all feel very fortunate, even if grocery store prices are much higher than they were 100 years ago.
