Federal Judge Katherine Polk Failla has upheld Ezekiel Elliott's six game suspension from the NFL in a ruling Monday night according to ESPN.

Elliott's legal team has 24 hours to appeal the decision.

If an appeal is denied, then Elliott will begin his suspension immediately. He will not be eligible to return to the team until their December 17 game against the Oakland Raiders.

It's a crucial time in the Cowboys season as they face the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday in Arlington, followed by the Falcons in Atlanta, Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Redskins and in New York against the Giants.

The Cowboys are currently 4-3 and in second place in the NFC East.

The Cowboys do have some quality, veteran running backs in Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden. But it will still be a tough stretch without Elliott in the backfield.

Personally, I think this has turned into Deflategate from a couple of years ago against the New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. I think Elliott's team should accept the decision, serve the six games and move on.
