Texas Parents Beware Deadly Online Challenge Has Returned
(KNUE-FM) No parent should ever have to bury their child, that is one of the saddest things any human could live through and unfortunately there are some parents that had to recently face that tragedy due to an online challenge.
While this incident didn’t take place in Texas, these online challenges can go viral in hours, I want to make sure that parents in Texas know about this and talk to their children about it especially while kids have free time over the summer months.
What is the Online Challenge Killing Kids?
According to NBCDFW, the deadly challenge that is gaining in popularity once again is called ‘dusting’.
There was a 19-year-old in Tempe, Arizona who died recently after she inhaled a computer dusting spray to get high, which was a trend on TikTok.

The Challenge Was Horrible Immediately
Details released regarding the incident say that the woman went into cardiac arrest after ingesting the dusting spray, she spent several days in the ICU before she was declared brain dead.
Dusting is known to give the same effects as someone who feels drunk or euphoric for just a couple of minutes. But the damage done to your liver and lungs can be irreversible or even deadly as it was in this case.

Texas Parents Talk to Your Kids About This NOW
Kids are calling it ‘dusting’, ‘huffing’, or ‘chroming’ but regardless of the name we don’t want any kids in Texas following this very dangerous trend. Please talk to your kids now, before it’s too late.
