(KNUE-FM) While it might not seem like it all the time, Texas is mostly filled with great people who are willing to look out for others even if they are complete strangers. At times it can feel like this world is divided and everyone is against each other but that is not the case, there is still a lot of Southern Hospitality that is alive and well here in the Lone Star State.
In 2025, the good people at Preply conducted and after receiving numerous responses, they have now compiled a list of the friendliest cities in America. Having lived in five states in the past eleven years I can tell you that these statistics are the truth.
People are very friendly for the most part here in Texas, much more than other places. Which is so refreshing, you might not realize that in other parts of the country people will go out of their way to avoid making eye contact or having a simple conversation. It’s alarming.
