It's was glowing reviews for Amy Poehler and Tina Fey's hosting skills last night on the Golden Globes. The two were wickedly witty at times, throwing barbs here and there like they were on SNL.

These two funny ladies did a great job hosting the show. They have that wicked wit, fantastic improvised comebacks and awesome chemistry. Right from the start this duo had the audience eating out of their hands.

If was a welcome sight from the usual awkward and tiresome award show. In fact, it was more like a sitcom to me.

Here's some of the hostess' funniest moments:

"I have not seen someone so totally alone like that since you were on stage with James Franco at the Oscars, (YIKES!) " Fey to Anne Hathaway about the her performance in "Les Miserables."

"When it comes to torture, I trust the lady who spent three years married to James Cameron" -- Poehler talking about director Kathryn Bigelow, of the movie "Zero Dark Thirty," which has started a lot of controversy over torture of terror detainees.

Their jabs, with liquor tumblers in hand, of actress Lena Dunham from HBO's "Girls," who beat them for the best TV comedy actress award.

The way they introduced George Clooney: "This next presenter is so handsome he makes young George Clooney look like garbage. Please welcome middle-aged George Clooney."

Their jab at Taylor Swift's breakup with boyfriend Harry Styles. “You know what, Taylor Swift? You stay away from Michael J Fox’s son," Tina Fey told a laughing crowd. Maybe Swift should "go for it," and Fey replied, "No, she needs some me time to learn about herself."

Their comments about President Bill Clinton after he introduced the movie "Lincoln." Poehler made the comment, ”That was Hillary Clinton’s husband.” In response, Tina said, "Bill Rodham Clinton."

Hopefully all the folks that were jabbed, took it like champs. As my Granny always said, "If they are talking about you, good or bad, they are still talking about you."
