The Fun Continues At These 10 East Texas Weekend Events
For the first time in a couple of months, you may need an umbrella this weekend as you head to one of the many weekend events and dodge some possible showers and thunderstorms in East Texas. While we're thankful for the rain, why does it have to come on our weekends?
We'll take what we can get though and be appreciative of it. Now that Halloween is behind us, it's on to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Christmas lights are already being installed on houses and businesses throughout Tyler and Longview and soon those Christmas inflatables will be popping up in neighborhood laws all across the Piney Woods.
If you're looking for some holiday decorations you can find plenty of them this weekend in Canton and Palestine at the trade days events.
Also this weekend you're going to gain an extra hour of sleep because Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday at 2 a.m. While you are changing the clock on your microwave go ahead and change those batteries in your smoke and CO2 detectors.
Here's a look at what's happening this weekend in East Texas.
