We've probably seen some HUGE drug busts in Texas & it's hard not to since we have huge a Border Patrol presence to control the amount of illegal substances coming into the state (and the United States). For decades people have tried bringing in illegal goods into the country.

The most common drugs caught in the United states are marijuana, methamphetamine & cocaine, so it's not surprising that you would see many..."interesting" individuals try valiantly to smuggle their goods into our countries in the most interesting ways possible.

Many have tried but they usually end up failing in incredible fashion. To prove my point, here are some of the weird hiding places people were caught having drugs while in the state of Texas.

Now this is not a complete list of EVERY crazy hiding spot that's been used in Texas, but it's just a small look of where people have tried (and failed!) to bring illegal goods into the state of Texas.

Don't forget this is not even considering the REGULAR items that are prohibited from bringing into Texas. One of the most common things we've seen is lunch meat. Loads and LOADS of lunch meat.

Now while you CAN bring in certain food items, it's the AMOUNT of food items is what you need to watch out for. There are many items that are prohibited from bringing from across the U.S. Border iso if you want to see more, you can see a list of 10 prohibited items down below.
