It's no secret that Texas loves its barbecue. And it's no secret we really love our barbecue -- we're even putting on a festival in Tyler centered around the whole thing.

So, when Jimmy Kimmel Live! took its show to Austin this week for South By Southwest, he decided to go on the ultimate search for the best barbecue in the ATX.

And he did it all around the theme of 'The Bachelor.'

Jimmy plays 'The Barbecue Bachelor' as he and Guillermo visit four of the best barbecue restaurants in Texas -- Franklin Barbecue, La Barbecue, Micklethwait Craft Meats and John Mueller Meat Co.

We won't ruin anything about the video -- you just gotta watch. Pay extra attention to Jimmy's face during his interviews, and the end is pure gold. Take it from me: It's way better than 'The Bachelor.'

But the super cool factor: La Barbecue and Micklethwait Craft Meats are two of the participating restaurants at Tyler's first-ever Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival on May 3 around the downtown square.

You don't want to miss these guys' food, if Jimmy Kimmel didn't get that point across it enough. Even Seth Rogen was on Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night talking about La Barbecue's brisket.

Click here to visit the Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival website and get your tickets before they're gone. Because just like these joints' food, once its sold out, it's all gone.
