Kacey Musgraves Returns Home, Pays Visit to Stanley’s Famous Pit Bar-B-Q

They say home is where your heart is, and it's apparent East Texas is still home for rising country star Kacey Musgraves.  And what better place to visit on a return home to East Texas than the region's best barbecue joint?

Kacey and her family visited Stanley's Famous Pit Bar-B-Q in Tyler on Saturday. Stanley's owner Nick Pencis posted a picture of him with Kacey on the patio (a little known fact: Nick used to play drums for Kacey once upon a time).

The 'Merry Go Round' singer is currently on tour with Kenny Chesney, Eli Young Band and Eric Church on the 'No Shoes Nation Tour,' which has launched the 24-year-old Musgraves into country music stardom.

Musgraves, a Mineola native, released her album "Same Trailer Different Park" earlier this year, which reached No. 1 on the U.S. Country Chart.
