Kane Brown to Play Concert at Tyler Junior College This Month
Platinum selling country artist, and Guinness World Record holder Kane Brown will be performing in Tyler, TX, next week. Brown -- who just performed his No. 1 smash "What ifs" with ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year, Lauren Alaina last night (April 15) at the ACMs -- will be bringing his act to East Texas and Tyler Junior College's Spring Fling next week, April 25th.
The RIAA issued Brown new platinum certifications — a reward for one million units sold — for his hits "What Ifs" and "Used to Love You Sober," and his current single, "Heaven," have also been certified platinum. He set a Guinness World Record for topping all five U.S. country charts simultaneously, becoming the first country act to accomplish this feat.
And if you're looking for Brown on Instagram, you won't find him. The singer and his fiancée, Katelyn Jae, both deleted their Instagram profiles last week. When Chicago radio station BIG 95.5 asked why, he told them, "Need people to miss me for a certain thing I have coming up." No news yet what the "certain thing" is.
Gate opens for The TJC Spring Fling at 6 p.m. on Wednesday April, 25th. East Texas' own Chris Colston kicks things off, so get there early. Tickets are $10 for TJC students and includes free crawfish and $30 for community general admission. There will be food trucks there as well for purchase. Tickets can be purchased here.
And headsup it's lawn style seating, so bring a blanket or chair.
