The Five Biggest

The Texas Music Chart released the 50 most spun songs of 2012 your Top five songs are: Casey Donahew "One Star Flag," Mike McClure Band "Horeshoe," Kevin Fowler "Here's to Me and You," Josh Abbott "Touch," and the No. 1 song of 2012 -- Eli Young Band "Even if it Breaks Your Heart."

Roger Creager Out of Context

In an interview with Kelly Dearmore of the Dallas Observer this week Roger Creager had this to say about the Texas Music scene.

I think of Texas country as a flower bed. There’s Jack Ingram, Cory Morrow, Reckless Kelly, myself, Robert Earl Keen and a few others in there that are really nice flowers. Over the past decade, that flower bed has been overrun with weeds.

Adam Hood Videos on YouTube

If you're a fan of Adam Hood like I am, you’ll be happy to know he went on a YouTube video posting spree. Included in the spree is “A Battle Won” a song hood wrote with Wade Bowen, who included it on his latest album, The Given. There’s also a cover of “El Cerrito Place” and a video of Adam and Cody Canada covering Hank Jr’s “Country State of Mind.”

It’s not “dirt” but if you love Adam Hood, you're welcome!
