Another East Texas county has been issued a stay-at-home order. This time Smith County Judge Nathaniel Moran has issued the order that will go into effect at 11:59 p.m. Friday night.

According to KLTV, the order will remain in place for two weeks.

NET Health CEO George Roberts says number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Smith County has risen to 27 - 24 of those cases being in Tyler, 7 are travel-related, and 20 are community spread.

Roberts says that 9 patients are in the hospital, while 17 are at home.
