According to KETK, "the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office has identified a suspect in the threat incident that caused country artist Cody Jinks to cancel a concert in Nacogdoches."

You may recall that Jinks' concert on October 26 at the Nacogdoches County Civic Center in Nacogdoches was cancelled just before gates were set to open. As it turns out, the morning of the show an employee at the civic center received a phone call from the suspect who threatened to shoot people at the concert. NCSO was notified of the threat and an investigation was immediately started. The show was cancelled out of concern for public safety.

KETK is now reporting that on Thursday morning (Nov. 14th), investigators with NCSO obtained a full confession from the suspect and his motive for the threat. As of right now, though, the suspect's identity and motive have not yet been released.

Cody Jinks' concert has been rescheduled at the Nacogdoches County Civic Center for January 25, 2020. All tickets from the previous show will be honored, or if need be fans can seek a refund.
