The Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES, made it's debut in the United States 35 years ago. It was my first video game console and still my favorite.

Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo Entertainment System catapulted me into my love of video games. September 2020 marks the 35th anniversary of the original release and Nintendo is celebrating in a big way.

I took some time off last week. While I couldn't really anywhere for a proper vacation, I did take advantage of the free time to expand on one of my hobbies, collecting retro video games.

LEGO is already set to release a Super Mario Bros. themed set later this year. Now, we could get a set that will allow us to build a replica Nintendo console.
