Texas Could See Snow, Probably Not a White Christmas
You see it in the movies and all over so many shows, the perfect wintertime setting with snow falling right before the Christmas holiday, but will we see that in Texas? Everyone knows that the Lone Star State is not exactly known for snow or cold temperatures, but we have had snow before. The Farmers’ Almanac has some bold predictions for the upcoming winter, which we should discuss.
Obviously, no one is certain what the weather will be like in the upcoming months, there are radars and other equipment that can help make predictions but that is just an educated guess. From the predictions so far it seems like we will not have any extreme cold weather around the end of December when so many Texans will be on the road trying to spend time with family around the holidays. But we might see snow later.
Be Prepared at the End of the Winter Season
It sounds like currently if we were to get a severe winter storm, we should expect that around February. There are predictions of up to 6 inches of snow, but who knows if we will actually see any of that white stuff falling from the sky.
Always Be Prepared
The last thing you want is to have to scramble for supplies as extreme weather hits Texas. If you’re worried about winter weather, now would be a great time to stock up on supplies just in case we do see a bad winter storm. You don’t need to live in fear, no need to buy up all the toilet paper like people did at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. Just make sure you and your family have the supplies needed to stay safe.
