This Year in Texas and Red Dirt Music

Wow, 2011's been a big year in Texas and Red Dirt Music -- we started out the year with quite a few late night TV appearances (which continued throughout the year) Granger Smith was literally "Sleeping on The Interstate" there were multiple Live at Billy Bob's recordings, Pat Green's back -- if you hadn't heard, Josh Abbott and Brandon Rhyder teamed up to to help out with Texas wildfires and despite all this and more it was undoubtedly the year of Eli Young Band's "Crazy Girl."  Recap 2011 in it's entirety after the jump
