(KNUE-FM) Just like in most parts of the world, here in Texas, people want what they can’t have or at least they don’t currently have. We see it all the time with people talking about what restaurant or business they want to pop up in their neighborhood next. It seems like grocery stores are popular on that list.

Here in Texas, we have all the big grocery stores we could ever need, and there are some more regional grocery stores that are amazing at having more of the local goods that some people prefer. But recently the grocery store Trader Joe’s has been rising in popularity which makes people want it even more, but there is good news as Trader Joe’s will be opening four new stores in Texas in the near future.

Trader Joe’s Nationwide Expansion Plans

The details were released by KHOU, regarding the four new stores in Texas although there is a much bigger plan going on. Trader Joe’s is planning on opening 33 new stores in 19 states and in the District of Columbia. In 2024 the grocery store chain opened 34 locations, and while exact dates for the new store openings are not announced yet, some are expected to open later this year.
